Invader

Aleyna

Invader (Tibouchina heteromalia)

This is a tibouchina heteromallia, original from Brazil, and very common in this region. The land next to it is vacant and the herbs, flowers and shrubs are growing. This decided to pass the fence to our side.

David, I would not call them weeds, but I'm enchanted with the crocus, the lupinus, helleborus, and many other flowers and plants that are common for you. And I'm not talking about tulips, that love it. this next winter will be my second try on tulips.

Wilserose thank you, and yes they are welcome. :)

Sorry, Aleyna, I misunderstood! I have some Tulips from last year growing now on the balcony. They are just leaves a few centimetres high at the moment but they have brown stripes on them & I'm looking forward to seeing them flower, hopefully, in a couple of months, I've just this moment remembered they are yellow with red stripes. Last year the local council's ones flowered & they were identical to mine - but in the 1,000s! They planted them all over town including in the flowerbed in the gardens of our block of flats! I've noticed they are coming up, like mine, as well!

My english is tricking me out... mine flowers posted are weeds. They grow everywhere.
Your flowers are not weed.
That is what I mean when I said "I wouldn't call your flowers weed, but I like crocus... etc etc

Gorgeous Tibouchina . . . here in the UK we have to keep them in our greenhouses, they are so tender. But so beautiful, they raise the spirits 🙂 .

A couple of days ago I said I had noticed the Tulips in the flowerbed in the gardens of our block of flats had started growing, well just yesterday I noticed the one of the Tulips had a red & yellow bud showing. Today It is almost open. If we get a little sunshine tomorrow it will open fully!
