Autumn visitor

The beauty of autumn here in the mountains is the profusion of butterflies. Some light blue, others dark blue, and these are multicolored. Blue butterflies usually stay among the vegetation, but these colorful ones risk visiting the vegetable garden.

Thank you Linda :)

Sheila, thank you. I really don't know. But, I researched about it and the 2 monarch species in Brazil have small white dots, and the lower part of the wing is bigger than the upper one.

Thank you David,
Butterflies have been a passion since I was a child. Grandma cultivated zinnias, and as you might know, butterlfies love them. I used to be ecstatic watching the colorful butterflies from flower to flower. Never in my life thought about collect them. Actually I was horrified when I discovered that collectors pricked them with pins :(
