Karen, I really wish you could! A cousin of Michaels lives near Edinburgh and e-mailed today saying going out in the garden to sit was not an option - unless you had a heater, duvet and numerous layers of clothing ... :o(

The blossom has been beautiful here in the South.....

For the second year running our lovely cherry tree has hardly any blossom. I think the cold winds caught it yet again at the wrong time.

Perfect combination Shirley tulip. I have a horrible feeling that we had cold bright weather around Easter last year and that was our summer.

Thank you Scotsgran, last year Easter was April 19-22nd and, down here on the South coast was really hot! Hot enough to lunch outdoors ... :o)
