My neighbour has 3 apple trees in blossom at present...maybe some apples will fall my way!
Yours sounds mouthwatering. I love a golden delicious apple, Linda. Especially when it has softened..

SOUNDS GOOD KATE. IF WE HAVE AN EXCESS OF VEG OR FRUIT WE GIVE OUR NEIGHBOURS SOME. I LIKE TO COOK APPLE PIE OR CRUMBLE. OUR SMALL ESPALIER APPLE TREES USUALLY DO WELL TOO.

KATE I MAKE MY CRUMBLE USUALLY WITH PLAIN FLOUR AND BUTTER AND SOMETIMES I ADD A LITTLE DEMARARA SUGAR INSTEAD OF WHITE SUGAR. IT GIVES IT A BIT OF A CRUNCH. EVERYONE HAS THERE OWN RECIPES AND WAYS OF COOKING. I USUALLY PUT SOME LEMON JUICE IN WITH THE APPLES AND COOK THEM FOR A WHILE WITH A LITTLE BIT OF SUGAR TO SWEETEN THEM BEFORE PUTTING IN THE DISH AND COVERING WITH THE CRUMBLE. IF I HAVEN'T ANY LEMONS I USE CRANBERRY JUICE.

Gorgeous pink apple blossom! I hope we get a good crop this year. Last year was very poor.
