Years ago, I used to walk past a dwarf lilac on the way to the shops ... the scent was amazing .. I didn't know the owner of the garden, but stopped and asked her if I could take cuttings. My cutting is now a big bush, and I've made another smaller bush by taking cuttings from the cutting ! So, yes, Sheila, give it a go.. good luck !

OK Terra! I’ve often taken cuttings from Penstemons, salvias, pelargoniums etc. but not from hardwood, but I will give it a go 🙂.
