Beatiful colours

They are lovely colours Shirley, and also I find these flowers are very fresh looking, whatever their colour. I suppose its like this with all bulbs to an extent.

Lovely colouring Shirley. Been thinking of getting some Iris in my garden. When is the best time to plant them please?

Julia, I think they should be planted between Sept.-Nov. and they like to be in full sun. I have no idea how many years mine have been around ... just happy to see them return each year! These ones seem to have moved about two feet from where I planted them ... :o)

Julia, I had an e-mail this afternoon telling me a garden centre group we visit will be open from tomorrow. Woohoo!

I need potting grit,a slim water butt, a garden hose, ericaceous compost , not forgetting, plants, plants, plants!

Ha, ha! I understand completely! Our local GC is also open again tomorrow. ..guess where we're going ? lol!
