Poppy field.

Wonderful. Is it sown as a crop? Will the seeds be harvested for anything?

What a wonderful sight to see love poppy fields even in paintings tell the farmer to keep it up.

Stunning ! We also had poppy fields were we used to live and miss them now we live on the coast !

I REMEMBER A FEW YEARS BACK WHEN I VISITED MY SISTER IN SUFFOLK THE FIELDS WERE FULL OF POPPIES GROWING IN AMOUNGST THE WHEAT CROP. I MAY BE COMPLETELY WRONG....BUT SOMETIMES WHEN A FIELD IS PLOUGHED IT DISTURBS THE SEEDS UNDERNEATH AND THE POPPIES GROW...THE SEEDS LAY DORMANT UNTIL DISTURBED.
WE USED TO GET POPPY SEEDS ON BAP ROLLS AND BREAD BUT I DON'T THINK IF IT'S FROM THIS PARTICULAR POPPY.

If I find it Homebird, after moving house again, I will put it on here !
