Thank you Meadow and Shirley, yes, there are quite a few and very pretty..:) so unusual with the coloured bracts and those tiny little sage flowers that the insects love..

I love the combination you've put together there, Janey; salvias, geraniums, stachys and yarrow in there too! a bouquet of scents as well. I added a Johnson's Blue last season and it's just sitting still... but my macrorrhizum is doing fine... it's leaves smell spicy..as does the yarrow. smashing combo!

So pretty Janey ,you can't go wrong with Salvias can you , I had one with a pretty mauve bract in our previous garden ...

Hi Lori...thank you so much.:)) the yarrow there will be a vivid pink one I've had for years, but has only had two flower stems until this year, and there are so many!
I see the geranium you have is a tough one, native to the Balkans, so should do well in Canada? It does have beautiful colouring leaves in Autumn doesn't it...I'm sure you'll have flowers aplenty soon..
