New Arrival (Rosa Jacqueline Du Pre)

Jacqueline du Pre, arrived yesterday from Peter Beales. It's not quite white, lovely flower. Nowhere to put it lol:-)

I saw this the other day and I loved it. I feel sure I could have found somewhere to put it but I wasn't allowed!! That is a sad story isn't it?!!! 🙁

Another devotee. The numbers are growing. It's everything a rose should be.

I have it in my garden. The flower is gorgeous.

Chris, my heart bleeds for you:-) At least you don't have the problem of three shrub roses in pots with nowhere to put them, and no one to stop you buying more in the future!:-O

Anget, no need for you to sound so smug....it's all your fault!!! >:-[ (angry face)

Linda, how long have you had it? If a few years, how big is she and have you a pic of her somewhat mature? :-)

BA: we all try and take comfort from our shortcomings by blaming them on someone else.... :-)

How very dare you! Are you denying the fact that it was on your blog or photo that I first saw this rose? and that it was you who sang its praises and spoke of its incomparable beauty? ..... I rest my case >:-[ (another angry face)

Ah, but, you can take a horse to water.....

I give up, some people have no shame ....and ...erm too many cooks spoil the broth:-)))

There's no answer to that!!

Oh Chris, you could have put it in a pot for now and later on sneaked it into the garden ! Hahaa!
Its gorgeous B.A.

It's lovely Ba, very subtle colouring, but with the rosy centre, very pretty. I should think you couldn't resist such a beauty, as her namesake. I'm sure you'll have a light bulb moment soon, or just plant it in a pot for now and keep it near the house..

As far as I remember Janey, her namesake was not very kind to her sister, but still a dreadful tradgedy, she was a wonderful cellist:-)
