It reminds me of the one Shirley gave me a few years ago Janey. I moved it this year and then decided to cut it right back and was worried it wouldn't recover, but it is growing well after a long sulk and I'm hopeful of flowers later on. Are the flowers a very pale lavender colour?

They are very strong Hebes Karen. This one is mainly in the shade, but very happy there. Yes they are very pale lavender. It's strange as when I bought it, it was budding up and that summer the flowers were pure white. I then planted it in this shady border and they are very pale lavender. Whether the soil has any bearing on the colour, I'm not sure. Worth having though Karen..:))
