Blustery and wet outside..

aw bless her,What a lovely little cat she is,Janey.My daughter's little Dachshund is called Poppy,too :o) ,and she likes to snuggle under blankets,or anything cosy..must be a girlie thing ! lol x

Little treasure! Yes she does look a bit grumpy be she can't help the shape of her face bless her. Cats are brilliant at finding comfy spots aren't they?

She's always had a really grumpy face, but is happy inside.
I've had lots of cats over the years and Poppy is the only one who's expression never changes. Even as a kitten she looked grumpy! Just these last few years she started to miaow and purrs now too. You could says she's a late developer, haha..

That made me smile Janey! Our cat, Megan, is sixteen and sleeps pretty much the whole day ... she must have a hidden alarm though as she always wakes up just before meal times ... :o))

Ah Janey Poppy is adorable ,our lovely late Marmalade always sneaked into the airing cupboards between the towels we never once heard her Miaow in all her 23 years .. we think it may have been something to do with the way she was found as a kitten tied up in a lay-by . but she was a happy content puss for the rest of her days x

Oh Janey that brought back a memory , we were on holiday in Spain many years ago with my half brother and families in a very typical Spanish village we went into a small cafe they were playing Spanish songs and music when suddenly Brown Girl in the ring came on in English my half brother started singing out loud with the song it was so funny everybody looked at him and laughed ...

Janey, we took Megan to the vet yesterday for her annual booster vaccination. So laid back, refused to come out of the cat carrier so the nurses took the lid away from the top and lifted her out ... the indignant look on Megan's face was priceless ... :o))

How lovely Amy, in a Spanish village, what I'd give for that right now....social distancing of course! I bet that was good fun!

Haha Shirley, she is one chilled out pusscat! The vet did the same with Lottie the other week, just picked her up under his arm and carried her in, I remember there was a type of bull mastiff at the end of his lead playing up a bit..

Lovely cat. Super eyes. Isn't the grumpy look part of the breed that she is. She obviously is very content. When I had my Siamese cats they loved cupboards, and under the bedcovers to have a snooze.

What is it with cats? They all love to squeeze into things. My old cat Dunkel nearly got thrown on the fire in my old house. We used to buy pre packed coal. There were three separate black coal bags in a strong blue paper bag. When it was time to put on the last bag we would just wrap it round the remaining black bag and drop it in the well grate. Dunkel (named by my husband) was black and there being an empty open bag, in she popped for a kip. Fortunately she woke up as I was wrapping the outer bag around what I thought was a coal bag. She actually lived over twenty years in a houseful of dogs and other animals. Your cat is very cute and as with all cats, looking very dignified yet slightly disgruntled:-))

She is Linda, and yes you're right, her mum was a cream Persian. The fur above her eyes is quite thick which makes a frowning expression and her moustache area is very pronounced hence the down turned mouth. She was the tiniest kitten when we first saw her in a basket with four rough and playing ginger brothers. She was sat right in the middle while they knocked and tumbled against her....and that was it, she was ours...:))
Suki was the same Linda, but always gave the game away as she couldn't resist miaowing if you were anywhere near her!

What a story about your Dunkel Ba, just imagine while you were toasting your toes, By that coals spitting a bit tonight!! Oh my, thank goodness she woke up in time..
So both you and Amy have had very long living pusscats...that's lovely..:))
