We have counted about 30 altogether as the rest of them that can't sit on the arbour seat, sit on the top of the hedge.

So do ours Anget, but would miss them if they weren't here!
Thanks Julia and Kate! I think they know when I am filling the feeders up as they are so noisy then! Hahaa!

How sweet to see so many. They are such cheery little birds. We have quite a number around here. They tend to sit in the Hawthorn hedge across the road.

Yes, it is Amy! They get their breakfast before we get ours ! Hahaa!
WE love to watch them Lindak. So comical too!
We sometimes get the sparrow hawk Thrupenny and unfortunately, not long after I had taken this picture, one flew straight in and took one of the sparrows. We were so upset!

Gosh what a lot youve got. I wonder if there is a collective name for a group of Sparrows?

I am not sure Siris, but this year for whatever reason we haven't got as many ! We do get visits from the sparrow hawk and wondered if it was because of that!

All hunkered down, they looked flattened! Very endearing. We get them on a shared garage roof.. noisy little feathereds but I love to see them. They eat us out of house and home!!
