Thorneyside ,we love our leeks especially Leek and potato soup in the winter , I only put the photo on to see if anybody could see it because for some strange reason I can't see the photo or any other members photos i can only see a name and number where the photo should be which means I cant look at or comment on anybody elses photos , its weird as my own personal photos are ok its just on GOY where they are not showing up ..😢

I've noticed quite a few people have had trouble in the last couple of weeks. Here's hoping it sorts itself out.

Lovely leeks Amy :)
I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with GoY. Actually Shirley Tulip had a similar problem and her daughter sorted it out for her. She started using Microsoft Edge and now she can see the photos.
I also have Microsoft Edge on my computer but don't ask me anything about it, I don't even know what it is ! :D

Looking good Amy, photo's uploaded ok. They do look so tasty, winter warmers... Are these in your garden or have you an allotment again?

Amy, I had exactly the same problem for 2 days with no photos or avatars on show. Not being techie minded at all, I enlisted the help of daughter (I.T. Support!) who talked me through using the Microsoft Edge browser for GoY, remembering to return to Google Chrome (our current browser) when finished on GoY. Happy to say I CAN now see photos and avatars as per normal ... :o))
I hope you are able to do the same before too long.

As a few of us are having niggling issues with this site perhaps it needs a bit of an overhaul.
When I first typed this, it put 'nibbling' instead of 'niggling' - must be thoughts of your delicious soup wafting this way!!!

Lovely to see so many leeks, Amy! I grew them a couple of years on my allotment. They were longer I think than yours, perhaps they were two different varieties!

This was the first one we dug up to see how they were growing David we've dug up more since which have been longer , do you still grow them on your allotment ?

I had to give up my allotment 5 or 6 years ago. :(

Shame David ,I think allotments are sometimes to big and not always conveniently on your doorstep to be able to pop out for a few minutes ,our son has one .
