For the latter half of the summer my bay tree has been entwined in the Golden hop that grows next to it. I've finally managed to cut it all off and is showing new growth and must be at least eight foot now..

Well I have done Kate, but I'm not really that bothered about cooking with them. I do love Rosemary and thyme and sage..
They do Julia, I never thought it would reach so high..

Is it in a pot Janey ? we've inherited two in this garden ,the suckers come up everywhere round the bushes , we recently cut all the lower branches off making them into a ball shape at the top ,I think its worked ..

It's in the garden Amy. I didn't realise they sent suckers up..I bet they look great now, you'll have to show us!
Yes I'm sure it heaved a sigh of relief Balc when it was released of all the clinging and prickly tendrils!
