Thank you, too, Amy, for this lovely Christmas card & for sharing so much about your garden & things you grow as well as personal things! :-)

I, too, hope next year is better than this one which is coming to its conclusion.

Enjoy your Christmas & stay safe.

This wish also goes out to all who use GoY! :)

Thank you Amy for your company too..:))

Wishing you and Tony a peaceful and choc filled Xmas.

It'll soon be 2021 and we'll have the vaccine and be on our way to spring and look back on this year as one huge mistake. Take care and keep warm xx

Thank you Amy -Sending you all good wishes too, for a peaceful healthy Christmas and New Year. A little tot of something is quite an appealing idea...I do agree Siris - Goy is one of the things that is keeping me sane and I don't think I'm the only one!

thanks for the good wishes Amy.
Just this household this year, no trip up to Sunderland to see my 3 brothers and their families.
Not even seeing our eldest girl but it is sensible to wait until it is safer.

Amy, that's a very pretty Christmas card!
Our son has just rung the doorbell, put gifts and cards on the doorstep and stood well back . . . such sad times we are in this Christmas . . . hope we can all enjoy far better times in 2021 . . . :o))

Shirley I'm glad you were able to see your son just seeing family members makes you feel sad when you can't have a hug , I agree we can only hope for better times to come we haven't the time to waste πŸ˜’ , Keep smiling and safe x

Thank you Amy, and to you too, sending best wishes to you and your family. I hope your husband is on the mend and feeling better! It’s truly awful times we are living in currently as regards to family and friends - not being able to just meet up and share normal daily things with them as well as big hugs!
Keep well and safe - wishing good health to you for the coming year x

Thanks Amy . . . our daughter should have been to New York twice this year but for obvious reasons has had to cancel those trips . . . :o(

19 Dec, 2020

Thank you Kate and nice of you to ask yes Hubby is doing very well after a horrendous few months thank you he's back to his normal self ,you keep safe to and your family have yourselves a Merry Christmas x

Shirley our granddaughter has recently arrived back home from New York for Christmas she isolated for 2 weeks at her mums in the Cotswolds but then went to visit friend in London making it impossible for her to visit us , she should return to NY in the new year .. she actually says its easier in NY there aren't so many confusing rules :o( x

19 Dec, 2020

Amy, I can well believe that! Boris and his team, in my opinion, are not doing a great job during this pandemic with far too much dithering and constant changing of the rules . . . :o((

20 Dec, 2020

My wife & I were able to spend Christmas Day with our daughter & youngest son & their kids.

I certainly agree that the rule changes are very confusing but at least for Christmas Day they were clear enough - 3 households could meet up & that's just what we did.
