Christmas Roses

Lovely to see at this time of year. We have a couple of snowdrops out but the slugs have nibbled the flowers.

Slugs!! I read somewhere recently that orange peel can deter slugs, so I've Clementine peel around vulnerable plants, (from the toe of my Christmas stocking, I jest)

The flowers are looking pretty, Ange. Clean and white. One of mine has been nibbled too..plus no flowers on the nibbled one! May be the buds were nibbled too..

Thank you all. I have 2 containers side by side. One is far more advanced than the other. Odd.

Siris do let us know if the orange peel works. I remember that cats are supposed to be deterred by it but I hadn't noticed...
