Jigsaw

Well, I have to keep occupied somehow. Rain all day again today.

Looks fiendish. How long did it take?

I've always enjoyed doing jigsaws. I've got several in the cupboard under the stairs. I'll have to get one out and do it.

My hubby likes doing jigsaws. He puts them together and I sort out the colours and put all the same shapes together. We then pass them on to the neighbours.

8 days Anget, I'm quite quick with most puzzles, but my son sent me a fiendishly difficult one which I started on Christmas Day & is only now nearing completion. Never again with one like this. I'll show the pic soon!

You have a lot of patience. So rewarding though when you insert that very last piece.

Fever, you'll have to frame the Christmas one. Well done, what patience!

Always seems to me that it is a waste of time when they just have to be broken up & put back in the box, but the pleasure is in the doing & keeping occupied, I guess. Don't know whether there are any other benefits, Visio/ spatial etc. I give mine to charity shops.
Your welcome to tea Klahanie, that cake might be nice.
Nice that you & hubby can do them together, Lindak. The sorting out must be a great help. I always start by taking out the straight edges & any sky. That lessens the number of pieces a bit.

Gosh that looks a hard one , we've done a fair few this winter , I hate breaking them up once they're done ...

Very relaxing and rewarding, Josee. Looks a fab picture, a very inviting one too...it’s evoking better times ahead - summer and gardening!
Got me thinking about jigsaws on my days off now. 😊

Whenever I finished a jigsaw, I would brush the back with adhesive then mount it on a piece of particle board. Makes an interesting wall hanging.

Paul, I have a framed jigsaw puzzle of a Parisian street - given to me by a patient. He has several around his home. Sadly, it’s in the loft currently.

Wow, you've made quite an impression on him. You must love your work Kate.

I did have one framed once for a friend, Bathgate.
