The first time we have had a snowy garden since moving here three years ago. Love it!

A snowfall really shows up good garden design. Lovely if you're not forced to be out in it.

Thank you Ange. I decided not to go out today ... hate the idea of slipping ๐Ÿ™‚.

It looks lovely tho'. Like you I worry about slipping. It took my husband nine months to recover from a fall last January.

Goodness Linda, thatโ€™s terrible. A warning to us all.

Same here today.

Looks so picturesque - from the inside looking out. Have to agree, if you donโ€™t have to go out, best keeping safe indoors.

I agree, best viewed from in doors, maybe with a hot cup of tea in hand. The snow does highlight good garden design. We haven't had a good snow in weeks, but are always told its on the way...just like Santa Claus.

Thanks Paul. In the spirit of the day, I sat by a glowing fire with a mug of hot chocolate ๐Ÿ™‚.

Yes, it does look lovely Sheila. We have thick frost here, which is pretty too.. That sounds the perfect way to enjoy it..:)) x

Good idea Sheila. I'm off to the supermarket right now and hot chocolate is on top of my list. :)

We also had a an inch or so of snow yesterday! But on Saturday we had a very heavy snow shower & everything was covered in snow in just a few minutes! An hour or two afterwards it had all gone! Sunday's snow is still persisting today but where the sun is shining on it the snow is slowly melting.

We had between -4C & -5C this morning. The lowest temps we have had since 2010! I even said to my wife that we could leave the heating on overnight - again something we haven't done in more than 10 years! - on a very low setting so the flat isn't so cold in the morning. We did that & it made a big difference - as was to be expected! :) Instead of only 18C or lower we had 21C!

Today couldn't be more different to yesterday with the heavy at tines snow compared to the transparent shies & blinding sunshine of today!

Yes, beautiful sunshine today, Balcony, making the snow sparkle ๐Ÿ™‚. Good idea to leave the heating on overnight when itโ€™s freezing - weโ€™re doing the same.
