Snowdrop 'Polar Bear'

Second season and spreading well. I think I have finally found a place in my borders that snowdrops like.

I would love to see a few of these in my garden. Would they come up through the snow?

Paul, the French name is 'Perce Neige' - pierce-snow.
They come through if not too deep and seem to recover once it's gone. I try and find them sheltered spots that aren't too open to the elements.

they are more than happy under snow Paul. The tiny amounts of heat generated by the plant melts the snow in contact with them and this causes a tiny insulating air space.

I will certainly be on the look out for these. Amazing!
