BSA B31 for Amy and Paul

BSA B31 for Amy and Paul

This was bought in boxes for me to ride as it has a low frame and I can get my feet down. Unfortunately it has a very severe kick-start that I can barely manage to get it going.
Hubby renovated it for me 4/5 yrs ago.

This is a 1945/46 model.

Ooo - I'd love to be a passenger on one of these. When I was quite small, my older brother used to give me ride home from my nan's on his bike occasionally. We were once stopped by the local bobby (I was about 6 then) and my parents never knew. He used to drop me off on the corner to walk the last bit home so my parents wouldn't find out! Can you imagine! I think this dates me somewhat. Wouldn't manage it now...

we have photos of the girls as pillions from about the age of 5. Hubby put a back rest on so they couldn't fall off backwards and he wore a belt that had grip handles for them to use as they couldn't get their arms around him.

This has been on the road for 4 yrs now and did get used a bit last year when restrictions were lifted. Each bike [there are 13 in total] has its days in the sun.

Thinking about it I must have been a bit older. (It's a long time ago, now). He's only 8 years older than me, but it was his first bike and it felt very adventurous. I loved the speed of it!
Do you have a compound for them all? What fun!

Oh yes Anget. They are in a garage and bolt locked to the concrete floor.
someone broke in to a previous garage and tried to nick the Harley Road-king we had at the time. they were not strong enough to move it fortunately but it made hubby reassess security.

I find trying to find the right keys to unlock everything as they are not named.

A wonderful job done in renovating these bikes Sbg , our daughter and son-in- law both had bikes they sold them recently as they weren't using them very often due to the fact they have 3 collie dogs any spare time is taken up with walking them and a big 4 track vehicle to transport them in ...
Thanks for showing to us ..
