Grandaughter Chiara, aged 8 months

I dug out this picture to send to Chiara (now 9 and living in Australia) because she recently said she'd like some snow. It's currently nearly 30 degrees in Melbourne!

How old is Will, Janey? Frankie was 5 when we were last together and will be 7 in April ... I worry that she won’t want stories on my lap anymore ...

How time flies Sheila ,isn't it great that we have modern technology to keep in touch with families . Your granddaughter will love the photo we would happily share our snow if we could :o)

Lovely photo happy memories, and a lovely keepsake for your family. I have a few photos of way back when my gran played the part of a fairy on the stage, and one of her and grandad on their wedding day. Lovely to keep.

Will is 21months now and Aleks will soon be 5. We are so blessed though, being able to video call them. I do hope things will improve enough for you to travel over in November..:) x
