What a lovely sight! That seems quite early for a lamb though!

it depends on the breed as to when they lamb. Some can be very early January and others March/April.

If the weather stays mild they will be fine. Births are a bit later hear in Scotland. You can still have snow in April.

Couldn't resist stopping and gazing for awhile.

Lovely to see. When I had my goats they started to come into season around September. They carried the kids for 5 months. They kidded in March, after two visits to the billy. I love to see the little lambs leaping into the air and playing with the other lambs, and when they leapt on to their mothers backs.

Only just found your lovely pic Meadowland. I haven't seen any lambs round here yet, but then I haven't really been out of this area much. Feeling very bored with the same walks, even though I'm in quite a nice area.

We usually like to walk around a lake which is 5 miles from us,but due to the lockdown it's out of bounds,so like you we are walking the same routes.
