Love this, one of my favourites 🙂.

Where do you grow it, Sheila? I just liked the 'look' of it this morning and thought I'd give the 2 types a go. I'm trying to put more 'green interest' into the garden. Worth a try.

I was just thinking, Gosh mine never produces seed like yours, but rethinking mine is an Ophiopogon Little Tabby, leaves are so similar, but produces true flowers.

I was surprised to see flowers so early in the season. Read it up and oracle says 'spring flowering'.

I have one in a sunny border, and one in a stony patch in semi shade ... grasses on the whole seem indifferent to soil and aspect!

Thank you, both. This seems to be everyone's favourite! I hope they will grow for me.. They had another with white striping, too. I was very tempted.

BTW, what sort of conditions do you grow them in, please?

I’ve got mine in amongst cobbles, Ange. They don’t need much care, I know the ones I’ve had don’t like a lot of water, I found they rotted a bit at the bottom.
