Used up spare 2 1/2" strips and some cream fabric from my 'stash'.
this made a decent sized lap quilt 40" x 44".

The colours, especially the greeny ones are some of my favourites.
it looks like they are 12 " blocks but each big block is made up of 4 smaller 6" blocks and then joined together.

We use the bed sized ones regularly. Both girls have single and double bed ones.
We also use them when we go camping as an extra layer with the sleeping bags.
This one will probably be sold.

As a gardener when do you get time to make these lovely quilts?

Early morning and after evening meal usually and then when it is raining, too cold or back too sore to garden or go out on the motor bikes.
I am one of those that don't like just sitting idle. I do knit and embroider too especially in the long winter nights.

Your a fidget like me. I prefer to be outdoors if clement weather. Sowing etc I find difficulty doing close up work in the evenings.
