A couple of purchases today.

Now that rose looks lovely. I've seen it in Beals Rose catalogue that describe it as 'deep violet turning into purple red when fully open. Strong scent. The mature blooms take on a rosette formation.' And half the price of Beals too. Good bargain.

Yes, I don’t know why I have a thing for Cordylines at the minute...I think I’m sort of hoping they grow quickish for some evergreen privacy ☺️

Thank you, Ange. I only had the one rose up til now. It’s up on the top of the rockery along the little fence. I just got thinking recently...I should buy a rose and see how I get on. It’ll look pretty next to the back patio and hopefully I’ll enjoy the fragrance as I relax with a book in the summer sunshine!!! Maybe I’ll be inspired to buy some more...well, I’m being inspired by all the rose lovers on here now!

Good buy Kate. Hope they do well for you. I have two Cordylines in pots and they do quite well. I just remove the dying leaves and give them a feed now and again.
