we are going to get more bird boxes as the people at the back of us have removed every shrub tree etc ready to build a big house. At the moment nohing to stop the westerlies ripping through our back garden :o(

We are sure there were birds nesting as we have been watching them, but they denied it.

Eileen that's so sad - you'll lose your lovely open view over the field. Some folk down our lane just cut down 3 ash with nests in. A neighbour is trying to bring up the rooks herself now. the tree cutters seemed not to think it mattered at all,
