Hundreds of peonies - what a sight.

What a sight that must have been, Wildrose!

I have one on the balcony that my son & daughter-in-law gave me for my birthday 3 years ago. It was in flower when they gave me it & it flowered again last year & I was really looking forward to it flowering again this year! Unfortunately it hasn't done so & I don't think it will as it's only produced a couple of spindly looking shoots that have had no buds nor leaves so I don't think it's going to survive another year! 😞

Balcony, we have 4 in the garden and they have only produced two flowers! I do hope that your peony manages to survive.
Yes we were staying with our son and his family who live in Oxted. There are some lovely places to visit nearby.
Sbg, the scent was on the air and was gorgeous. It is similar to that of a rose but has an added extra which is hard to describe!

What a magnificent display Chris.. I don't have any Peonies,but I'm enjoying my neighbours at the moment :o)

Kate, even our grand daughters loved the peonies and kept on sniffing them!!
Rose it was lovely to be with the family again and it meant such a lot to us.
