Another evergreen shrub pruned to give access along the path.

I had one in my old garden which I had to cut back every couple of years or so as it grew like mad, but it wasn't any bother. However, there was one right by the door here, which we brushed up against everytime we came in and out. That's when I discovered I really didn't like the smell of the leaves. It had to go. I've replaced it with a 'Sweet Box' which is far more pleasant.

Thanks all, I must admit to not liking the scent but it's far enough away from seating to notice!

You’ve trimmed it into a really lovely shape, Shirley! One of mine is in need of a trim…the other two on the bund can grow as they like!
