I have shown this before but still think it's a wonderful plant!

It is so annoying when that happens. I recall planting 2 pots with pink and white Pelargoniums . . . quite miffed when some turned out to be bright red . . . not my favourite colour either!

It’s a lovely late summer colour, Shirley. I’m liking this as I’m not keen on reds either..

Thanks Kate, I don't have reds anywhere, neither flowers nor clothing! Hadn't realised that until just now . . . :o)

It's funny isn't it how we gravitate towards certain colours, without really realising? If I look in my wardrobe, I have nothing in a shade of green. As for the garden, purple always seems to dominate...but other colours are in there too. I don't have a colour in the garden I dislike.

Julia, my only green clothing is a very light green cardigan! My dear old Mum wore a lot of green as she had auburn hair, pale freckled skin, so it really suited her.

I love Crocosmia but which it would flower longer!

Rose, then you'll have to enjoy it while you can!

These are really lovely flowers! I have never grown them though. Alongside the main entrance to my church there is a patch of bright orange ones that flower every year & are in flower right now. But they are quite small plants no more than knee high. I've seen plants of these that are taller than me in town!

David, I can't say I really know much about this genus but I guess there are many cultivars in varying heights!

Shirley can you believe I bought two plants of Cocosmia and according to the label they should have been this colour. They have now flowered and turned out to be red (Lucifer if I'm not mistaken) The are totally the wrong colour, so I have had to move them. Ah well the joys of gardening.
