Bath full of blooms.

Having never heard of Goxhill I Googled it and discovered it is quite near Barrow where my OH was invited to a job interview once . (Minister of the Methodist chapel there)
We didn't feel it was the right place for us though but the journey up was interesting. I had never imagined that anywhere could be so flat for so long! Looks like an ideal place for an airfield. Guess you won't remember the Yanks around your village - it must have been a real experience for the villagers!

Love the bath of flowers! We didn't see anything on our trip a quarter as lovely as the gardens in your photos - clearly we didn't look in the right places!

Sue, Barrow-Upon-Humber is a lovely village, Goxhill isn't as pretty. Lincolnshire is a fairly flat county and it is mainly agricultural and due to its geography and the terrain it was ideal for air bases.
I live in Yorkshire but my patient caseload is Lincolnshire, North and South ish.
It's such an idyllic and pretty area...there are a few hills on the wolds, I've driven up and down a few steep ones believe it or not!
Sometimes I can be driving through the countryside and I could be back in the 1940s...it's relatively unchanged in some areas, which I love!!!!
