Monkshood Aconitum napellus

I always called this my Delphinium but found out its a Aconitum napellus LOL, anyway they have put on a lovely show this year, I googled them & found they come in White & a mixed two colour Blue/White.

I love these but never grew them after reading back in the 90's when I moved here how quickly they killed a dog who dug up a root. I had Jack Russells and wasn't prepared to risk it because they loved to dig.
