You can't see the flattened molehills, Kate :-) OH has been driven mad by them on his newly levelled grass!

Fortunately we don't have this problem...I see some patients who get so frustrated by molehills and I fully understand why.

Neighbours have very sweetly lent us their mole deterent, Kate. It makes an irritating strumming noise but we shall leave it a little while to see if it works! If it does we'll get some of our own!

50 per cent, Meadow. Some on the other arches hardly made a show - too dry, I think. The viticellas were ok but the large-flowered clematis were a waste of time, and have been since we planted them! Time for a rethink..
