Such a reliable Penstemon, flowering for months and months. Strikes easily from cuttings too.

I fully agree. I have this and unless the weather is really cold they flower non stop. I agree they take cuttings easily.

Sbg, I have some pots of Penstemon cuttings, they have been outdoors for months but now I wonder if they would be better off in the unheated greenhouse. What would you recommend?

depends on how big they are. if they are in pots bigger than 0.5l then they will be ok in the shelter of a wall or in a cold frame. if they are in smaller pots then I'd pop them in the greenhouse.

In that case I will move them to the shelter of the house wall, with the covered pergola for the Grapevine above them.
