Thank you Kate. This is Lottie, my little dog. She was supposed to be showing Sandra's (bloomer) daughter's dog Poppy, how good she has been so far with her Xmas toys..all a bit of a joke really!

How have you been today Sheila?
After a wet and dismal morning, we had blue sky and winter sun, very mild with it too and breezy. A lovely afternoon, I noticed hellebore flower buds coming..:)) x

Thanks Janey! Sorry about the misunderstanding! I thought Lottie was called Poppy too…but, now I get it. 😆

Lottie looks so cute Janey and well behaved so much better than our daughters 3 Collies they fought and had tug-of war play games with their pressies ruining them instantly..
I still have my Lottie look-a like sitting in a chair Haha x

Thanks Janey, it was the first dry day for ages (yesterday) so I went for my favourite walk down to a lovely pond. And my cream Hellebores are flowering 🙂.

With friends I did a quiz on Zoom in the evening … good fun, so a good day. x

Nice little bony headrest there Lottie. Talking of bones, I saw a programme of where they drained a gravel pit and found lots of Mammoth bones Near Swindon also they found Neanderthal tools. David Attenborough took part in the programme....He always makes it easy to understand what's happening and I've always liked his programmes.

Well they are very similar Kate, long noses and short legs..:))

Gosh Amy 3 Collies! That must be a lot of hard work, lovely dogs though? Border Collies or Dulux ones?
Aw, me too..Haha!

Sounds like a lovely day Sheila! I have a gift of a Christmas rose, they are such pretty Hellebores aren't they..:)

So did I Linda, it was incredible to see the bones being unearthed and to think how old they were. The mammoths had come here while we were joined to Europe, just amazing.
I was hoping it wasn't just a one off program....

I found a few fossils when I lived on the I.O.Wight whilst walking along the beach. I have part of a dinosaur bone.
