I love them, they come up every year and are slowly getting bigger. Started with just 5 in each corner of the confier bed.

Just a couple of days ago I rediscovered a deep blue Iris reticulata in the church gardens. I didn't see it last year & was surprised to see it again this year!

sometimes they have a year off from flowering especially if they haven't had a particularly dry summer.

this is a histeroides cultivar, painted lady is a reticulata apparently. I do have both in the garden.
