On a recent trip to North Wales it poured with rain nearly the whole time!

Looks like a torrent of water.

The waterfalls were gushing down the mountain sides and all the rivers were so full.

We love Wales and spent many holidays there when the children were small , they would spend all day trying to dam up a little stream or climb a mountain ,they didn't need money or mobiles to amuse them in those days ..
They still prefer that kind of nature holiday to crowded places today ..

You captured that well Chris! I imagine the people there worry about flooding!

Amy, my husband, as a little boy went to North Wales every summer with his family. They bought a cottage in the fifties for £300! Like your children they spent wonderful times in the fresh air climbing, playing in the streams and visiting local farmers.

That torrent reminds me of a small river in Cuenca that would turn into a raging monster after some of the summer thunderstorms! In fact I was looking at some of my old photos just yesterday of the 2 rivers in Cuenca. Once my wife went to visit her mum there & we stayed in a B&B alongside this river & it was full of water while we were there. Being as our room had a small balcony I was able to get some spectacular photos I never would have been able to get anywhere else!

Yes it was all a bit dramatic there! The dashes to the car were quite dramatic in themselves!
