Newer planted pittosporum 'Krinkled Blue' and fuchsia 'Army Nurse'. The ivy on the garage wall is opposite the side of our house, a tricky area to plant because of the shade. Periwinkle seems to thrive there!

Thank you, Klahanie and Rose. I go in and hack the 'Jenny Pym' back twice a year. The smaller white vinca I had seems to have given up the ghost! The tits often nest in the box on the house wall because it is all rather unruly in there. As well as periwinkle there is honeysuckle and climbing hydrangea which give cover on the house wall.

My neighbour had periwinkle and it's thriving. Lovely aspect, Ange.
