We used to have Handel in a previous home and it was such a well-behaved rose - no trouble at all.

How beautiful is that.

I've wanted it for a long time, having seen it over an arch in an Open Garden. It's been around for a while and not uncommon and I was pleased to find this at a bargain price.

I used to have this one in another garden Ange, but it seemed to be very prone to black spot!
I did love the flowers though!

Oh dear, Rose, blackspot is my bugbear. if it succumbs it will be out! I'll see how it goes in its pot this summer!

I have found out now Anget that to spray for black spot just has the bud appears and then every month, or when I remember! lol

Lovely rose flower Anget. One of my favourite flowers are roses. So many colours and fragrances.

I seem to have far more roses than I intended, Linda. Many are in pots, so I may have a cull!
