Argumentative lot, aren't they, Linda?

I think they are great to watch and the youngsters are learning about pecking order....(sorry!) Great little characters Ange. I have to keep filling and cleaning the bird baths. My next painting I am attempting is four Starlings having a bath.

I'm always changing the bath water, too. We get large numbers of adolescents at the moment and they demolish the fat balls as soon as they are hung out. I've rationed them to 2 a morning now! Good luck with the painting - an interesting subject.

Happy little things!! Unfortunately not a starling or pigeon lover, but little ones..quite cute.

Yes, and the birds loving the birdbath are so entertaining … we had three magpies together today, and it’s not very big - no wonder it needs topping up so often!

I do love to watch the birds bathing, especially when it's their first time!
