Funnily enough I did something very similar myself today:-))

placed my order about 2 weeks ago after seeing them in the gc. I really like sundisc, a really good yellow.

David, Spring is my favourite season with so much coming into bloom after the Winter months.

Well done Julia!

Eileen, I have really gone off the taller Daffs now, got fed up with having to see the dying foliage for so long, hence these shorter varieties.

Have been browsing the J. Parkers catalogue in search for some inspiration for next spring. Miniature daffodils and Darwin tulips have made it onto my list.

Well you couldn’t leave a garden centre empty handed, could you! Nice choice of dwarf daffs.

I have to agree, Shirley. I do prefer the smaller forms..

A very pretty selection. I don't favour the large types, either. I don't plan to buy any bulbs for next year, rather lost interest...

Ams, they will look lovely in the Spring for you.

Josie, I have been known to leave without a purchase, rarely though! There is a garden gift voucher from my birthday waiting to be used ... :o)

Kate, I just planted the Sun Disc ones in a terracotta bowl and hope to get the others in the ground tomorrow.

Anget, my favourites are Crocus, any colour, any height, as they always make me think the gloomy days of Winter are almost over ... :o)

I agree with you, Shirley, about the Crocuses! I didn't have any last year for the first time in many, many years! I really missed them, too!

I prefer the Species ones over the Dutch hybrids. But all make a very welcome start to the spring & besides they have colours you wouldn't really expect at the end of February!

Nice selection there. I only plant the shorter daffodils because we are on a hill and the taller ones don't do very well.

Thanks David, I remember walking through the village churchyard in Spring two years ago and there were masses of mauve and white Crocuses. In the Autumn I planted a dozen or so at my Mum's plot and had a few appear in the Spring ... :o)

Lindak, that sounds sensible! I planted the bulbs i had bought, along with some from pots last year, into the flower borders yesterday. Looking forward to seeing them in Spring!
