Last year we visited North Wales .The water colour is a mountain in the Snowdonian range. It is one of the most recognisable peak in Britain, having a classic pointed shape with rugged crags.917.5 metres above sea level. It is the 15th highest mountain in Wales.
Took quite a long time to paint...sitting in the same position for more than 2 hours I try to avoid.

Lovely tranquil painting Julia. North Wales is a super place to visit. We've been up Snowdon 3 times on the little train, but only once has it been free of mist, so we were able to see for miles and miles.

You defintely have your own recognisable style, Meadow. I mpressed by your capture of the mistiness.

Ooh Julia, that's a beauty! Love the colours you use, so tranquil with the wisps of mist coming through. Yes, very talented!

I was 11 when we visited there, I loved it all, stayed at Llanrwst in a large tent in a farmers field. Had only been once previous to that at 9 when I was part of our school choir and we sang in the Eisteddford at Llangollen. First view of mountains and waterfalls, so lovely.

Julia, it's fantastic! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent! I could easily find myself gazing at this captivating view for quite some time...
I just hope you're not in too much pain from sitting for such a time!
