Tangutica seed heads.

Tangutica seed heads.

I only planted this in the spring and didn't think it was going to flower and produce the seed heads.

Once it gets going, there will be no stopping it, lovely though.

Thanks Siris and Chris! Well.. it can only go over the arch , so would have to trim it back when it reaches the end.
Thank you Linda.

Thanks Janey!
The flowers on the Tangutica, Kate are really pretty with yellow bell like flowers.

Rose, I used to have the wonderful 'Bill McKenzie' clematis. Lasted some years before giving up. Seeing your photos makes me wonder if I should plant another!

That sounds like it Shirley.

I've T. Korean beauty in my garden Rose. Not as pretty as Bill McKenzie, cream with maroon centre. I grew it from seed about 15 years ago and can I thin it out and train it? No! Probably grew it in the wrong place. Anyway I've clipped off a lot of the long stems with the fluffy seedheads, hoping they'll dry for Xmas decorations. I've never tried doing it before I'm hoping it'll work.
