Crikey, my Camellia only has small buds. Your photo is lovely ... :o)

Thanks, all. This is the first flower on this plant but it is full of buds. My sasanqua 'Yuletide' has only had 2 miserable flowers, the same as last year, so with that I'm less than impressed. This cheap one, however, has been a beauty every year since I've had it.

I don't know, Klahanie. All the label said was 'camellia', helpfully. I picked it up in flower. I like the regularity of the petals. I have a red one from the same place, same type, same lack of info... it hasn't flowered yet but full of buds, too.

Beautiful flower Ange. I haven't got a camelia, but do have a dwarf rhododendron and two small azaleas. I feed them with ericaceous feed twice a year. Is it worth giving your Camelia that's not doing well, a feed to give it a boost.

Klahanie, I'm sorry you lost your Nuccios, they are lovely. I have a 'Nuccio's Pearl' (white-pink) and it's my favourite, Beautiful blooms.
Linda, I feed my camellias conscientiously and have no problems with the others!

The only other thing I can suggest is pruning the poorly one after flowering....

Beautiful! Some vivid colour in January! Mine will be ages yet, I'll enjoy yours meantime.
