Paul, I bought this to fill a gap where I had to dig up a very old Hebe. It was definitely past it's 'sell-by date'!

Klahanie, I can't imagine having to check plants for Deer resistance, but how nice the Deer find Pieris unpalatable!

I've a couple too, Shirley. They're really are quite a pretty shrub. They add some colour in the winter garden too.

Kate, I know they prefer ericaceous soil but I have had one planted for over ten years in our Sussex clay so shan't bother buying any!
