This winter the leaves are so intensely red.Not a tall shrub..
Has grown over 10 years to approximately a metre.

Thank you for posting this Julia … I was thinking of getting a dwarf Azalea for our raised bed full of ericaceous compost, but now I’m thinking of one of these - it looks so gorgeous and I couldn’t grow it in our previous garden. You’re an inspiration!
