Someone's going to be busy planting.....Lovely selection there Kate. I've just cut all the snowdrop flowerheads off so it puts the energy back into the bulbs. If you want them to spread, then leave them on. Gerry planted the peas yesterday and placed a cloche over them. Anyway I hope your plants do really well for you Kate.

Interesting choices, Kate. I note you have allium sphaerocephalon. We inherited a similar-looking bulb in a dry garden and it ran everywhere! I tried to dig it out for years but never managed to eradicate it. I can't be certain it was this allium, but if I were you I would keep a close eye on its spead in the future, just in case. I think I would try it in a pot, first! Others on the site may be able to tell you of their experiences with it (which may differ)
