Thanks Klahanie … yes, I may be exaggerating, even though it’s “only” 500 pieces. We haven’t had a jigsaw in the family since the boys were little.

Not at all Klahanie! I’m fine with words, but this seems to need much patience and logic. My OH will probably manage the greater part of it …

This does look a lovely one to do, Sheila. I haven't done a jigsaw for some time. I may have to look one out. I noticed in the hospital WHSmith shop they were selling pretty ones. But the price! Crazy for a patient to pay out this cost.
I'm sure you'll enjoy doing yours!

Such a beautiful painting Sheila. I agree, the sky and river probably will be the hardest! Lovely to be there in your mind whilst your busy though..:) The latest one I have is of seed packets, dozens and dozens of them, I bought it at a charity stall and it will really make my eyes boggle!

You’re right Janey … I’ll just look forward to doing the rooftops! I think it will be a good way to REALLY LOOK at the scene, which is what Steve used to persuade me to do when looking at a beautiful view. Your new jigsaw sounds good fun 🙂.

Hope you are enjoying putting your jigsaw together. My hubby is doing a 2000-piece one, and it's taking him a long....time. It covers my tabletop. I've been sorting out the different colours for him on plates and trays.

I think that sounds like really good advice Steve gave you Sheila. Looking at the rooftops puts everything into perspective too, and you could start at the sides and move right across..:))x

Sheila, how are you progressing with this jigsaw? I think the sky will be the trickiest part ... stick with it!
