White Fritillaries.

So beautiful Julia, we had them growing wild in the Spanish garden, what a treat..:)

Very pretty.

I like the white ones but always seem to end up with the mud-coloured ones! ;-(

Lovely to see the fritillaries out Meadowland. We have the white ones and the purple ones with white squares in.

These are lovely, Meadowland! I've never tried to grow them on the balcony but I really must give them a go next year!

The problem is I believe they like a damp, shady area to grow in but our balcony gets the full glare of the sun from about 11am till the sun sets (when there is any sun!) so it would probably be too hot & bright to keep them from one year to another.

Most odd! 🙄
