Metasequoia glyptostroboides 'Goldrush' a deciduous conifer to the left and Picea pungens 'Rovelli's Monument' the blue spruce to the right.

Wonderful .... and it's there all year round... no dying down and then filling in the next season! (suppose the heaths die down, but, you know what I mean?) Agree with Chis and Clarice... very inspirational. The metasequoia~~ would it survive in Ontario, Canada, My USDA zone is 5b?

Lori, Heaths are evergreen. Metasequoia should be ok in your USDA zone 5b.
