Wow... this is a real beauty...! Never seen a blue one before in my life ! We have a Museum of Life & Science with a butterfly house on the grounds ,and they have butterflies from all around the world. I'll have to check now and see if they have this one, and if they don't, see if they can't get it.

He certainly looks like a Large Blue Butterfly and, if so, he is very, very rare in Britain. You ought to send the photo to your local wildlife trust for confirmation of identification - I think they would be very interested.

I cant take the credit for this pic GOY MEMBERS its a" Mag Pic on Endangered Butterflys" i wanted 2 write ablog & Make People Aware how some Butterflys are Disappearing or Have already become extinct in our Country :(
